Crowns and Bridges
We offer high-quality crowns and bridges manufactured using zirconia and porcelain, resulting in a high-gloss restoration that mimics the shine of real teeth.
Crowns
A crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is used to completely cover a tooth above the gum line. Crowns can be used to strengthen damaged teeth so that they appear and function normally. Crowns are also used as protective covers for teeth that have recently undergone root canal treatment to protect them from fractures.
One-Visit Crowns
Traditionally, the installation of crowns takes two or more visits to a dentist’s office. This involves taking impressions of your teeth and fitting a temporary restoration until the permanent one is prepared in a dental laboratory.
Modern technology using CAD/CAM dentistry allows us to produce your crowns in our office while you wait. This has been made possible by an advanced restoration system known as CEREC (an acronym for Chairside Economical Restorations Esthetic Ceramic) which uses a computerized 3D model of your teeth and a dental milling machine to design and produce your restorations immediately.
The maintenance of crowns and bridges is easy. These restorations can last many years when properly cared for. All you need to do is follow a good at-home oral hygiene regimen and regularly visit our office for checkups.
